The Old Vicarage

Surrounded by the rolling fields of England and in the shadows of the Malvern Hills, Heartland Therapy can be found at the Old Vicarage in the beautiful and picturesque village of Eldersfield, where the three counties of Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and Worcestershire meet. It is a haven for a unique therapeutic approach, bespoke solutions being created by Joanna Evlyn-Bufton by combining her experiences in hippotherapy, equine and animal therapy.

In these beautiful surroundings, Joanna offers one to one consultations and therapeutic treatments for her clients and offers visits for the elderly who may be looking to simply enjoy the gardens, to reconnect with nature and to interact with animals.

Through Joanna’s know-how and a colourful tapestry of happenings gathered over many years, she combines these with her deep-rooted interest and passion to help people, where Heartland Therapy is committed to promoting physical and mental health and wellbeing.

Joanna is particularly proud of the work she does with autistic and disabled children, and young people with mental challenges, such as anxiety and lacking self-confidence. She works closely with their parents and carers to develop treatments aimed at building confidence in the child through their interactions with animals.
